Choice is an interesting concept. The other day I got to hangout in the garden of the Snowdona Study Centre. Their café wasn’t open, but if it had been then sitting out in the sun enjoying a meal would have been the cherry on top of an excellent afternoon. Coincidently, the pub at the bottom of the hill was doing well

Fingers crossed and hope you find suitable path. I’ve been moving in the right direction, admittedly not over night and still a way to go, getting back to a pre-diabetic state is achievable.

I found my sugar levels dropped quite drastically after I cut out the breakfast fruit juice in favour of a vitamin C supplement. Occasionally I will squeeze my own and dilute it with fizzy water.   

As long as you break your eggs on the right end.

Some of them are described as heirloom or heritage eggs, harking back to a time before mass-production. Also the idea that you are getting something special.

I‘ve heard of chicken farmers feeding their hens coffee grounds to ensure a healthy-looking brown shell. Not sure if that actually works though?

You get a touch of that over things that cost more than a quid.

About five years back, a McDonald’s ad managed to include a Chiswick branch that had closed a few years before. It was a Poundland when the ad was broadcast. People noticed.

They are supposed to be opening a drive-thru in Broughton. Not quite there yet though.

The phrase “kosher salt” would draw blank looks in UK shops. Maybe less so since Ina Garten slipped on to the telly. Coarse Salt or Rock Salt would be the things to ask for. Go for Sea Salt if you are being posh.

Can it be as good as Pickled Onion Monster Munch?

It used to be rather fun telling French students that there wasn’t a McDonald’s in Greenwich (the historic bit anyway). They did get a branch in there eventually.

Locally “Pam” is the word for “why”.

Crave is a brand of pet food in my neck of the woods. My cat doesn’t like it.
