It was Deep Fried Clam Day yesterday.

I once bought a chicken kebab in late night in Lewisham. Got on a bus and when it came time to get off I no longer had the kebab. I do not remember eating it.

I recently had what felt like a bizarre experience of the District nurse telling me to eat more red meat. Vegetables alone are not enough. And there’s me worrying I haven’t had enough fruit and salads.

Never heard of Salt Water Taffy, but the images on Google look like something out of the pic’n’mix section at Woolies. For us, summer and the seaside meant candy floss and a stick of rock.

Sometimes you get the best of both worlds.
