Pre-pandemic, but a local trader used to bulk buy frozen diced onions from the Co-op as one of the ingredients for his own product. For some reason the staff there got paranoid over this and complained he was damaging their business. Kind of weird because a couple of cafes stock up from there on occasion.

The Wallsingham home is much beloved by spook hunters, some of whom will say it is the most haunted site in England. But beyond the moat that surrounds what is left of the Tudor manor house, there is a farm and also an agricultural education centre. At least I hope the ag ed bit is still there. It was under threat

Do camu camu berries grow anywhere else? I’m always curious about the seemingly constant supply of blueberries in supermarkets. The other day packs were from two locations in Peru and a third in Europe, Through the year they will variously come from Scotland, USA, Chili, Argentina, Egypt, Spain and other locations.
