That minestrone tin reminds me, Amy’s used to do an excellent Black Bean Vegetable Soup that popped up in Waitrose or (for an extra pound) Whole Foods. Then it vanished apart from £10 tins on Amazon. What the heck?

My preference is for an old-style eye-level grill but they seem to have gone out of fashion.

That looks fun, but if I tried that method today the bread would get soggy. Heck everything would get soggy. Better to stick it under the grill.
