You need the Greasy Spoon Pop Tart. And for some reason I am now thinking of Miss Pop Tart. It’s a long lockdown.

Pop Tarts with Hot Cinnamon Pop Rocks.

It’s weird, isn’t it. Chlorine in chicken is fine but beef stock is a baddie.

Isn’t that what they sell at Taco Bell?

Heretic.

Does this mean you haven’t read The Coming Race by Baron Edward Bulwer-Lytton? Or made a decent gravy? A dark and stormy night for sure.

The UK Pop Tart range is (currently) just three-flavours, Strawberry, Chocolate and Apple, though some places stock extortionately priced imports. Australia just has chocolate I believe?

Too true.

Tastes bloody awful as well.

Camp coffee anyone??

Boiled that batch myself. I’m sure I rant about whelks with alarming regularity.

They are very tasty. And I miss the old fashioned shellfish stalls.

I wouldn’t say they are like either, it’s a much firmer meat.

I think Iceland sell those.

Bendigedig Burgers perhaps? Anhygoel? Amhosib? Syfrdanol?

Whelks, or sea snails if you prefer.

Not that I would want to discourage anyone from trying something new, but farmed fish aren’t without their own controversies, some diseases, parasites and blights travel easily within farmed colonies, Also harvesting wild stocks is already changing through climate change driven migrations that might not be sustainable

If you ever have a cold or flu try boiling some barley wine with a bit of honey and lemon.

Wilko’s will do you a water spray bottle for two quid at the moment.
