US chef Alison Roman made her debut on Saturday Kitchen yesterday with a bit of chicken. Might have to try that sometime. Disappointed though that having never heard of Christmas Pudding, she couldn’t bring herself to sample Matt Tebbutt’s pud with Douglas Fir Sauce. Ben Miller seemed to enjoy it well enough though.
I know blind people who use smart phones with considerable skill, though I bemoan the demise of the tactile dot on the five-key. A contactless system would be great though.

Sticking a QR code on their that links a smart phone to an audio file might do it as well. Does anybody do that.

Braille is in something of a decline, which isn’t helped by the arrival of some audio alternatives. Diabetics tend to lose sensitivity in their fingers anyway, but many rehab professionals can’t or won’t teach braille these days.
Just remember M&S Lemon and poppy cakes landed a woman in jail for drug smuggling.
