All 5.7L Hemi’s recommend 89 but can run on 87.
We use midgrade in both of our family’s DDs which have Hemi engines. 89 is recommended for them, 87 is allowable, but you can tell a difference in economy if you don’t run the better stuff - especially on the highway.
