Not anymore it’s not. Most 1/2 ton trucks come stock with 33"s...
I agree - that’s a silly ratio. It makes me think that they’re going to be using the Ranger’s transfer case (2.72:1 low-range ratio) and need the diffs to make up for it’s limited ratio. (Rubicon’s t-case low-range gearing is 4:1, FWIW)
You don’t have to regear a Rubicon unless you go stupid big.
David,
Didn’t the order say you only need to have the vehicles in a garage to make them legal?
Temporary garages are cheap...
1) You keep harping on “used as” as if it makes a difference. It does not! Fuel is a material and is also used as a material. You continual denial of this proves that you are not concerned with anything more than “validating” your own preconceived notions.
Found the mooch.
1) We’re not talking about “used as”, we’re talking about “material”. Words have meanings; learn them. Oil is a material. Fuel is a material. Plastic is a material.
Do you look at knives with higher regard that humans because the knife can cut a steak better? Don’t be so dense...
1) Fuel is “USED AS” as a material, because it is a material. Maybe you mean to say “building material”, “textile”, or some other specific type of material, but until you do, why would I assume you mean anything that you haven’t actually said? Even then, you’d be ignorant - no matter the final end use of oil, it still…
What do you think a tax is? It’s a penalty... It’s taking away an option/choice via monetary means.
It’s like someone asking “will this LS fit in my kid’s Powerwheels” and someone saying “with enough money, anything will fit...”
Exactly. No cars in cities, for one...
Yeah, but see, you guys want the FEDS to pay for those rail systems, and that means that Nebraska will be paying for it too.
The states and cities are free to built their own transit systems at any time using their own funds. They just don’t want to.
Exactly. Germany is smaller than Texas and has a population more than TWICE that of the Texas (84M vs 30M) - what works for them doesn’t mean shit for what will or will not work here.

BINGO!!!
Germany is smaller than Texas and has a population more than TWICE that of the Texas (84M vs 30M) - what works for them doesn’t mean shit for what will or will not work here.
1) Fuel is a material. Oil itself is a material. I don’t know how you can think it isn’t. Do you even know what “material” means?
2) You can’t grow hemp or any other plants in sufficient quantities without petroleum-based products (fertilizer, pesticides, equipment to prepare, sow, harvest, etc.) and even then, we’d…
1) Fuel is a material and “materials” other than fuel are still highly refined and come out of the same wells...
Simple solution:
