Stop making excuses...

Yes. Simple solution is simple.

Clearly, you don’t know me... I’m not too far removed from your situation, it seems. I make a pretty decent living, as does my wife, I’m in my early 30s, and we also just kid a this year. We didn’t reach our OOP Max, actually. (Though we were close.) We’ve spent only $120 on medical expenses since the birth, and that

I don’t like this change. (18" alloy wheels are fine...) This is going to take one of the critical elements out of the race; the pit stops.

I am becoming convinced that far too many people in our society have convinced themselves that they will never be successful, that they will always be a victim, and that they should not try to do any better for themselves.

Universal healthcare means the GOVERNMENT GETS TO DECIDE IF YOU’RE VALUABLE ENOUGH TO PROVIDE CANCER TREATMENT TO. If you’re just barely getting by, taking more from the system than you’re paying in, they’ll just let you die while you wait at the back of the line.

And my whole point was that the number of uninsured people out there is a false metric that doesn’t actually mean anything because it makes NUMEROUS sweeping generalizations.

Young and healthy people need to be thinking ahead and planning for their OWN future. They don’t need to be saddled with paying for other people’s lack of forethought and shitty decision making.

LOL - okay. You think the government won’t either make profits or cut benefits? Don’t be naive! Look at how they run the VA, Medicare, Social Security, etc.! If they aren’t making a profit, they WILL cut benefits.

I want the government to be smaller, that way whether or not it is good (because it never will be) doesn’t matter nearly as much...

You don’t HAVE to have insurance. There doesn’t have to be a middle man in our current system. Most people have insurance because they feel losing a little money at a regular interval is “better” than saving and then loosing a lot all at once. It’s EXACTLY the same argument to be made for purchasing things on credit

You can do that right now. You won’t be able to step away from M4A...

Sure, if you don’t make much money, you won’t pay much of an M4A tax.

No way! This fascia looks MUCH better, IMO. The weird triangular grille is much better incorporated here...

This thing looks fantastic! And it seems to have the performance to match...

It is possible, yes - that was part of my point. We don’t have good data on this. It’s equally as “wrong” to claim that there both are and are not these people. Your entire argument “against” me can be turned around “against” you. You cannot tell me how many people there are who want insurance, don’t have all sorts of

All of this also goes away - and you retain control of your own coverage - by privatizing everything and separating insurance from employment.

I’m not, nor did I claim to be??? Why are you so hung up on cable bills? Cable was one example of a plethora which could have been chosen to illustrate the same point...

I paid about $3200 last year for pretty darn good insurance through my employer (for both myself and my family). This also includes coverage that WOULD NOT EXIST as part of M4A. If those extras were taken out I’d likely pay closer to $2000 annually for the same family coverage. Furthermore, these are OPTIONAL
