I really dig Koenigsegg and their approach to car enthusiasts by being transparent on manufacturing and public design language, it's good PR and build generates more interest in a product. I wish Ferrari would be friendly & do something like this once in awhile.

Mike, you've flat-out nailed it. This is the very essence of enthusiasm: not numbers, not all out ability, but the way it moves you.

I think instances like this one really annoy me and most other true fans of GT racing. The GT racing should be an all out race among a really fast, really capable production based sports cars that may have been _tuned_ (not modified) for the race. Also use rules that balance all the cars to around the same lap times and anyone can win.
