True story. They tend to get a little skittish when driven around quickly.

Hamas keeps fighting spirit up because it's (1) fun to shoot at kill Israelis, (2) religion motivates them and (3) they know that Israel fights fair, more than fair, with warnings and such, and that restricts them from leveling Gaza like they would do in a full-fledged declared war.

The nice thing about GT racing is that in an era where the majority of the top race series on the planet —F1, NASCAR, DTM, IndyCar— have all turned into spec-series, or glorified spec-series, GT cars actually look and sound different.

In other, completely un-releated news, Ferrari has completely decided not to come back to Le Mans.

I don't disagree on LMP1, nor that F1 might be becoming too restricted.

I really dig Koenigsegg and their approach to car enthusiasts by being transparent on manufacturing and public design language, it's good PR and build generates more interest in a product. I wish Ferrari would be friendly & do something like this once in awhile.

Mike, you've flat-out nailed it. This is the very essence of enthusiasm: not numbers, not all out ability, but the way it moves you.

I think instances like this one really annoy me and most other true fans of GT racing. The GT racing should be an all out race among a really fast, really capable production based sports cars that may have been _tuned_ (not modified) for the race. But these days we see such extreme modifications that some cars are

Also use rules that balance all the cars to around the same lap times and anyone can win.

Either that, or it won't exist anymore.
