I also loved them pulling up supposed old images of Prank and the Trickster (actually from the old TV show) and Cisco (I think?) expressing disbelief at what people wore in the 90s.

Iris has been a useless character since last season and I don’t get why they made her the team leader. She has zero useful skills and contributions to Team Flash! She is merely Barry’s wife and nothing else.

I hope Beboo becomes a running joke in all CWverse shows.

Barry Allen has all but run through the streets of Central City naked with the words “I Am The Flash” spraypainted on his chest and nobody knows the truth. The people of Central City are dumber than doorknobs

I can still enjoy Back to the Future Part 2, but Part 3 just does not hold up for me on re-watch.

I think you’re forgetting a little picture called Addams Family Values.

Also Back to the Future Part 2 and Part 3, Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey, Toy Story 2 and 3, Christmas Vacation, 22 Jump Street, Gremlins 2, Army of Darkness, or The Great Muppet Caper.

(You shouldn’t have said 40 years. 40 years takes you all the

Toy Story 2 and 3 are just as beloved as the original.

I’d go to bat for Gremlins 2. It’s a very different sort of movie than Gremlins, but it definitely still holds up and unlike most comedy sequels isn’t just a blatant facsimile of the original. Dante was really trying something different with that movie.

Or a third one, or a forth one, or a fifth one, or a 6th one

Well this exact thing happened on Gossip Girl. No joke. And the two characters ended up marrying each other (I hated that but for many other reasons). I don’t care about Jughead/Betty so if this kills their relationship I’m okay with it. Esp since the chemistry between FP and Alice is sizzling. And they’re more

I’m surprised she hasn’t been made a recurring cast member then. Not that I’d want her to be because I like the character and wish she had more development, but that makes more sense production-wise.

Correction: Ollie WAS a billionaire. He somehow lost his entire fortune just because his company was bought out. It appears that somehow, Oliver had no actual stock in the company, and his billionaire parents possessed no additional assets beyond the company, or some ridiculousness from people who don’t seem to

Listen, whenever you think of a problem like the radiation thing, just remember the answer to any lingering question:

Iris apparently does not require a paycheck, or an income of any kind. She just self-exists.

Who knows what her job is? Does she have a job? Is she employed (is any of Team Flash aside from Barry) at STAR labs? Who do they get their paychecks from? That’s a whole other set of questions.

I don’t think the law really matters in this show considering they had Cecile take a leave of absence to defend Barry (which wouldn’t be allowed in the real world anyways)... That too it also wouldn’t be allowed for Barry to just leave court like he did in this episode.

Then again this is a show that doesn’t have Iris do something as basic as record Mrs DeVoe’s confession to help Barry’s case.

I don’t think it is fair to say it was a fluke, especially since I’d argue that a lot of the flaws of the show were evident already back then. Rather I think the first season benefited from having that novelty back then as well as a villain that allowed for a proper mystery to be build around it.

Clearly Flash is in the same place Clark Kent went to when Superman died.

So at this point, we’re all in agreement that the solid first season was a complete fluke, right?
