It seems like if you're going to open a legally sketchy business, you'd at least get all your building permits and stuff in order. Why ask for the trouble?

Somebody who really wants to use big words needs to consult a dictionary before trying for things like “penchant.”  I won’t back down on the difference between flaunt and flout.  I’m certainly not going to agree with penchant and pension being the same word.

I see everyone is taking the easy way out on this discussion now bemoaning the world is going to hell while totally ignoring the dynamics that put this in motion. I wish we could bring this back to a discussion of the truly fucked prison system in this country.

I imagine that Gaetz and his supporters are the same people who claim to lament that men no longer hold doors for women or stand up when a woman enters the room. But they will also go after a woman’s appearance for holding different political views. Hypocritical does not begin to describe these assholes.

It’s amazing how the Republican party is constantly in a race with itself to see who can be the most vile, hateful, and malicious as possible. They really don’t want to be part of civilized society anymore is what I’m taking away from it. 

The one observation I have about divorce (from growing up in the ‘60s and ‘70s) is that, in my experience/observation, children from families that have experienced divorce are probably somewhat more likely than others to go through divorce themselves.
