Crew returned to its preppy 90’s roots - they made great wardrobe staples/ work clothes like wool sweaters, khakis, black pants, etc. in neutral colors and quality, natural fabrics that aren’t usually too revealing or weirdly cut. I worked for J Crew (corporate) in the early 90s. Their clothes USED to be very high quality. I still own sweaters and jackets from my time with them, and they look like new. High quality fabrics well sewn. That’s what people paid their high prices for back in the day.

Their quality was pretty amazing 20+ years ago but fast fashion kind of blindsided them and they adapted very poorly.

I have to give Jenna Lyons some credit for J. Crew going into the toilet as well. 

I’m perfectly OK with shooting guys like this because I don’t believe violent misogynists should be allowed to breathe.

It doesn’t defy logic at all. There’s mountains of evidence showing what elements of our culture encourage and promote misogyny. I think we have a pretty good idea why this shit happens, we just have no power to address it.

I’m going to try something new. I’m going to look at the comments and NOT be surprised when it shifts to victim-blaming.
