My dad did that not once, but twice. Drove from Calgary Canada to Florida in about 3 days of marathon driving. Sadly, on one of those trips I lost my hearing and my sanity for a few days... The hearing loss was bad enough but the hellish tinnitus that accompanied it drove me insane...  Quite sure that was the vacation…

Lost Odyssey is the only one on this list I’ve completed. Some of these games don’t really age all that well. The mechanics and story may be great but everything else is... not.

Meh - I don’t waste my time with sitting through credits anymore.  It’s BS.  I’ll catch it on DVD.  Although, when my daughter and I left after the show ended and the credits rolled - we were the only two out of our seats.  It’s eerily cultish now, how people will sit there through the credits cuz they just GOTTA see…

I get that, but you have to admit the optics look particularly bad.

I really wish they would make another POP game.  It’s been too long, and honestly these massive epics are really getting old. My kingdom for a simple game like POP which has a linear storyline and fantastic game play that doesn’t take over 100 hours to finish.  Enough with the massive games.  I’m tired of it.

Oh god yes. I had a special boot floppy for games that used Expanded memory, and another for games that used Extended memory... and probably a few other boot floppies for various drivers that needed to be loaded or NOT loaded in order to save memory.

I LOVE Dos, but yeah some things about it were as finicky as hell.

This is just one reason why I don’t think seniors should be allowed to drive themselves or at the VERY least have a far more rigorous testing process than they do every fucking year of driving after age... say 70?

Agreed - it’s not the 90s anymore. You don’t need to pad your small game with grinds. It actually puts me off, I’ve grinded SO many RPG’s in the last 2 decades. Unless the game is really compelling - I just don’t anymore.

Was really glad when FFXII on PC came out with it’s cheat mode.  I wish they did this for all…

I’d SO love to get this but the Switch’s $80 price for pretty much ANY of it’s games is really putting me off.  I’ll wait until there’s a sale...
