The accounts remain the same, the platform is different. You DO have to buy the game again but you do not have to reroll another character. You can easily slip back and forth between both platforms, which I do because my PC and PS4 are in different rooms.

You still use a keyboard with the PS4 and frankly, I prefer playing this MMO on a console as opposed to crouching over a keyboard and mouse. I sit in front of a computer all damn day. When I game, I don’t want to be doing ANYTHING like work.

I used to use pharmaceuticals. For over a decade I was medicating against migraines, stomach issues and sleep issues. I had almost no sex life with my wife because there was virtually no sex drive.

Thank GOD for Cannabis because once I discovered it could stop my migraines, I was on the road to booting all that CRAP…

Don’t you need to have completed Heavensward to get to the areas where you CAN get those jobs though? I haven’t even gotten into Heavensward and even THOSE jobs are inaccessible to me until I get there.

My only peeve with FFXIV is that I can’t unlock the new jobs in the expansions until I actually completely the main story quests that lead up to it. Really tedious and annoying.
