I have an RTX 2017 and 3900X and it’s running pretty okay for me. No crashes or major hiccups. It’s a bit buggy and the frame rate is anywhere from 48 to 144 FPS. It’s definitely not as smooth as Death Stranding but I’m having an okay time. Sucks that so many people can’t say the same. I sure hope they patch it soon.…

You joke but I’m pretty sure they would demand developers crunch to get the game out by Holiday 96745 AD. That heat death is due to hit in the Spring and people gotta experience the latest in gaming technology.

Hhonestly if they’re as good as half life Alyx is I’m cool with that. I just hope hope series doesn’t become as convoluted as kingdome hearts. 

At this rate I’m pretty sure Half Life 3 is going to come out before Star Citizen.

Well I’m sure you’ve heard it before but take it from me, it’s a much, MUCH better game these days. I’d highly recommend giving it another go if you ever feel the need to explore random planets and see some weird shit. 

This game never ceases to amaze me with how much better it gets with every update. You gotta love how dedicated Hello games is to making NMS the game we were all promised. Honestly I think they did that a few big updates ago but here they are continuing to add to it completely free of charge. 

Oh I’m sure I can think of a few reasons why they wouldn’t want to keep him around. 

Would it shock you to know that they released another game just a few weeks ago? Because it certainly didn’t register on a lot of other people’s radar. 

Yeah, I think they were trying to angle it to be more like Fallout but frankly, I don’t go to Farcry to play a post apocalyptic open world game. I play Farcry for fun open world shooters in strange and exotic locations while ignoring the deeply problematic nature of doing so. 

This is honestly very good advice. I made the mistake of playing the game for like 7 hours straight yesterday and I honestly felt depressed by hour 3 or 4. It’s a heavy game. 

I was talking about New Vegas and the old fallout 3 engine they had to use. 

I feel like a lot of that is the old engine just not being up to the task of rendering such an environment. That tech was dated in 2008, nevermind 2010.

I dunno, feels like Quake Champions is pretty dead in the water these days. Feels like no point in trying to protect it.

I just try to go into things blind so that I don’t have expectations. It’s why I usually don’t watch trailers or read press on games and movies and such. If I manage expectations and don’t go in knowing a whole lot I can typically enjoy it more. But Spoilers don’t ruin things for me. That said, I’d like to avoid them…

I figured they’d get rid of it given the massive backlash. I get wanting to get rid of cheating but, honestly, who is even playing the multiplayer for Doom Eternal? It can’t be that big of a group. Adding Kernel level anti cheat software was a nuclear response to a pretty minor problem if you ask me.

I’ve been saying for years how it’s weird that nobody tried to make a sims clone. Especially when we have a bunch of Civ and Sim city clones out there. Feels like making less...evil versions of Maxis games is just money on the table. Especially if they’re on Steam or GOG. 

Though if I may suggest a change to the flying it would be to do away with the overheating mechanic. Just let me fly as long as I like, dang it.
