Thanks, I've had 8 years to pin down why Diablo 3 didn't work for me. It's not coming from a place of bitterness, just disappointment. On the flip side Diablo 4 seems to be heading in the right direction. Time will tell on that one but I like what I've seen of it.

It doesn’t help that one of the major villains early on is a fairy looking lady with bright purple butterfly wings. That kind of character belongs in Warcraft, not Diablo.

Now playing

It’s all about tone. Diablo was always a lot darker and horror inspired. The world was often presented as a very gritty and bleak setting. They used pagan and satanic imagery with atmospheric and subtle music. Diablo III is just a cartoon with generic orchestra and nothing to suggest anything in that world is really

Boy you really had me in the first half of that comment.

Kojima was right about everything! HOW DID HE KNOW?!

It really isn’t. It’s ugly, broken and generally shallow even by the standards of Bethesda. Plus it has a terrible story and insulting radiant quest bullshit to artificially create the feeling that you’ll never run out of things to do. There are like 3 tops and very few of the people in them are worth talking to. You

Considering the subpar quality of Fallout 4 it might be time to just give up on Bethesda ever making a good one again.

You should probably shut that thing down regularly, my dude. No sense having it on when you aren't home or asleep. But that's just me you do you.

Well I’m playing it on PC and for some reason Windows 10 doesn’t let me put my computer to sleep and download things at the same time. I guess I could leave it on overnight (which I’ve done a few times) but it’s still really annoying.

I’ve been saying for a while how annoying it is to not play the game for a couple of days, decided I wanna do a few rounds and be met with a 60GB patch or more. It deflates my enthusiasm for the game because on top of that just being ridiculous I also don’t have the fasted internet in the world. It would take me hours

I’m still not convinced that this is all a ruse by the aliens and the real Xcom is still fighting.

The only game I have played where seated VR doesn’t work was Super Hot. You also have to walk around for real in the game. I nearly punched my monitor and decided that it just wasn’t for me. I feel like if VR is gonna really catch on the amount of methods to play in Half-Life Alyx needs to be the bare minimum. I tried

I now want a VR pod so I can lay down and relax while playing games.

That’s how I play the game. I don’t have a lot of space so sitting down is all I can manage. Even with that style it rarely restricts me and I have a blast while playing. Really the biggest problem with VR I’m having is when I take the headset off and there’s a big mark across my face. Plus it tends to make me real

I’d do that but I’m too afraid I’d smash my monitor of PC tower on accident.

For crying out loud could they PLEASE just make a Splinter Cell game instead of dragging Sam Fisher’s corpse out every time they want to market one of their Ghost Recon games? There is a strong hunger for it, especially since Metal Gear Solid is all but dead.

At least private corporations kind of have an excuse. But the government literally has departments and professionals to deal with pandemics and yet it’s still failing miserably. Can’t imagine what kind of idiotic bad hairdo spray tanned problem might be causing all this.

Control is so good I’ll never be as happy as I was when I first played it.

VR makes me motion sick enough as is without frantically running for my life in utter fear.

Especially since they’re far from the only game in town. Both Nvidia and Microsoft are offering a service too, and they both seem a lot better than Stadia.
