Cliffhanger is one thing, but Halo 5 doesn’t really have much of a climax and ends abruptly. A solid resolution to that particular plot was needed. Look at The Empire Strikes back. That movie has a major cliff hanger but it still told a complete story. Halo 5’s story stops midstream so Halo 6 can pick it up.

You forgot Ryan Reynolds.

Sometimes you just gotta finish something, dude. I went through the same thing he did. I hated the ending but still felt like I had to see it through. Put it to bed so I never have to look at it again.

Thing is, I had managed expectations too. I didn’t think it was gonna top Arkham City. Few things can as that was kind of the perfect Batman game already. Even with my expectations managed it still let me down. Though, I think a lot of that has to do with Paul Dini’s absence. I guarantee you that if he wrote it I’d be

Right? I’m a huge fan of Batman and I found the game’s story to be incredibly weak and the gameplay itself to be a step down from Arkham City. Side missions weren’t as interesting and the Batmobile was really not as amazing as they seemed to think it was. Many returning villains and plot lines were wrapped up super

Yeah, that really baffles me. Its heavily modified, but its still the same old Unreal Engine 3 that practically dominated last generation. You would think that by now they’d be able to get it to work well. But I’ve heard that Rocksteady had serious issues working with the new hardware or something. Not sure what to

Fuck it, I have the game on the xbox one as well (since it didn’t work for me at launch) I’ll just get the refund and NEVER BUY A WB PUBLISHED GAME ON THE PC AGAIN!

Oh, I’m completely aware of that. Its obvious by the way the game is designed. The way you earn points suggests that the unlocks were meant to be that way and that Micro transactions were added in later at Microsoft’s behest. Still, not crazy about the RNG card system, however. The other games at least gave you

Tell me about it. It’d be nice to get a definitive ending for a change, one that doesn’t just make me feel like “Oh, that was it? Okay, I guess.” Oh well, its not as bad as seriously disappointing endings, the one thing video games do more than non-endings.

God damn it, Really? I like me some Halo. I’ve been a big fan for a long time and I’m the first to defend the idea of continuing the series, but come on. It can’t sustain itself for much longer. Not like this. One more game in the main series is all I’ve got left in me. Maybe a spin off like ODST or Reach, but

Okay, but can they add more missions to Halo 6? Because I noticed in my run of all 4 games in the MCC that Halo 3 was really short. Also, can it not have like 3 missions that are just walking around and talking without much going on? Those whole sections could have been cutscenes that link missions with actual

I like Halo for the story and while I can say this one is weak its still worth playing. There are a lot of great moments for fans of the books. Pretty much everything on the Elite home world is a love letter to fans of the extended lore. I’d say play the campaign, important shit goes down. My only major issues were

I don’t get why people don’t get this. Plus, who cares? Its not the most offensive addition to the series. It doesn’t change gameplay that much. You get knocked right out of it the moment you take any damage just like in previous games. I’d think people would be more put off by the increased mobility, which also makes

The Micro transactions are stupid, yes, but I’ve found it pretty easy to level up and earn new things by playing a few rounds a night. It seems to go at the same pace as the other games in terms of leveling. The only difference is everything is random instead of working towards something, which I’m not a huge fan of.

I really do enjoy Halo 5, I even kinda liked the campaign. The only problem was that it didn’t have an ending. Seems like 343 is basically following the skeletal framework of each entry in the series. Halo 4 was a bit of a throwback to the first Halo where Chief was alone on a mysterious forerunner structure. Now this

I find it funny how they really wanted to emulate Halo 2. So much that they even emulated the biggest problem the game had, a cut third act. Halo 6 seems like its gonna be a cool finale though.

JASOOOOON!

He’s a wannabe film maker who can’t hack it in Hollywood but has somehow convinced Sony to give him TONS of money and Hollywood actors to make nonsensical QTEfests. I just don’t get why they would keep him around, especially since Until Dawn took the same formula he works with but made something good out of it.

So many emoshins.

Ah, must have misread that. Also, its not really all that clear, but I’m certain the list will be comprised of things they’ve published and anything other publishers are willing to allow. EA and Bethesda have already said they’re on board for it, for example.
