Well, thankfully the new leadership is proving quite commitment. Xbox might be damaged as a brand for a while, but if they keep this up they should be okay.
I finished the DLC not long ago, managed to get the whole set, so I think I’m good. If not, well I can always try it again on NG+
Planned on it. I like the Master crafted Ursine silver sword I have currently but I really would like to upgrade it soon since better Steel swords seem to just drop out of the sky.
Exactly, I have no idea why Microsoft insisted on completely revamping it. The 360’s interface was great. Iterating on that is all that was needed, thankfully that is what they’ve ultimately done.
Had this for a little while now. I can say with confidence that it’s quite an improvement over the previous dashboard. A lot of quick button prompts take you where you want. Seeing friends and making parties is really easy and it trimmed a lot of fat. Settings, for example, is no longer an app. Its just the settings.
Oh, Good, I was worried that I had missed it.
I got the complete armor set and the steel sword, couldn’t find the silver one. Now I’m sad.
Just finished that quest, was great. Too bad everything went all tits up. Ah well, I got lots of valuables out of it. I liked how adamant Geralt was about not wanting anybody to die. Seems like a lot of games seem to ignore that most guards/cops are just doing their jobs. Killing them is bloodthirsty and needless.
Halo has always looked great, no arguing that.
Yeah, that’s my point, the world has long since moved on. Arkham Knight is no longer relevant and there is still a bad taste in my mouth about it. I used the Halo example since it comes out literally the day before Arkham Knight goes back on sale. I’d rather play a new game I’m excited for then revisit an old game…
I remember getting a lot of kills with the BR myself, so I agree. Fortunately, I think 343i took a lot of that to heart. I mean, what else was the Beta for other than to stress test servers and balance the game a year before release? Chances are those issues will largely go away. Not sure about the difficulty of…
Yeah, it always ran for me, but never terribly well. Played the console version and it looks mysteriously better there. Mind you I put everything up as high as it’d go on PC. Really the whole thing was just unacceptable. Now I’m just so over the game that revisiting it would be a waste of time. I’ve got newer and…
I enjoyed it, even like the changes. Made the whole thing a lot faster paced.
We are entitled, you’re right. We’re entitled to working products that we spend 60 dollars on. Game development is hard, but not a lot of hard work went into the PC port of Arkham Knight. Not because the people that made it didn’t try, but because the publisher that churned it out didn’t care enough to make it…
The beta worked great a year ago. Chances are the reason the MCC was such a miserable failure was because most of it was outsourced and all of it was rushed to meet the 10 year anniversary of Halo 2. Halo 5, however, has been tested on the general public. If it held up there it will probably hold up here too. Maybe a…
Well, that is certainly worse than any of Arkham Knight’s problems, I’ll grant you that. Too bad not many people know about that. Seriously, that is some messed up shit.
Yeah, I mean, AC Unity was bad, REALLY bad. But it was never not sold on one of the major platforms for 5 months bad. But give it time, I’m sure Ubisoft will match this debacle with something worse. I mean, its only a matter of time.
Get it on sale later down the road. Its a good game but the story is the weakest in the series and its ultimately a disappointment. Many of the plot twists are predictable and the ending is weak. Its worth playing to finish out the series but as far as the 4 games go, this is actually my least favorite.
