Make it a Maloo for me!

Suzuki Jimny, of course.

A couple of last-gen Holden VF Commodores. Specifically, the Ute and Wagon.

Sure, you could buy something that will at worst keep up with this Viper while providing a far more civilized experience for $40,000. The Viper was not built for civilization. It was built to live on the knife’s edge between fun and a fiery death. Given the condition and low miles I suspect this beast will hold its

I managed a Budget rental location, plus an rv rental business on same property, for a couple of years. We never called the cops or reported a vehicle stolen, not even once. Even when they were multiple days late we didnt call the cops. Just the sheer numbers of stolen vehicle reports from hertz is a major red flag

Gee, I wonder why the Business Inside piece goes out of it’s way to avoid showing a picture of Hill.

Like, what possible thing could this employee be going off of visually to assume Hill was stealing the car?

Okay, enough playing dumb, that Hertz employee is racist as fuck.

There’s an argument to be made for the entire current BMW performance lineup (outside the 2, which... it’s fine), but the iX is the greatest offender.

If your dumb enough to park on the tracks, you should not be a police officer. It just simply isn’t possible you contain the intelligence necessary to carry a gun or to have power over others. Plus, it’s flat as fuck around there. How the hell did they not see or hear the train coming.

What the actual fuck

I feel like I’ve been tired of the ‘hyper-car’ thing since about the mid-2000s. The last supercar / hyper car I remember caring about was the Porsche GT. But post-Enzo, it felt like they all got increasingly homogenous - similar shapes, similar power outputs, similar hybrid-gas powered transmissions, the same

The Cien, Ciel, Elmiraj, and Escala along with this just make Cadillac so frustrating.

Chevrolet Nomad Concept.

The easy answer is the Cadillac Ciel, but that never had a chance at production.
Instead I’m going with the Holden Coupe60 concept - what would have been the next-generation Monaro (or Pontiac “GTO”, if you will).

I have never wanted a concept car more than the Elmiraj.

Pretty sure thats a Holden Calibra

Yeah, I’ll agree with the 288GTO all day, as I find even the F40 to pale in (visual) comparison.

As for the rest...well, I’d have to put the F-series trucks in, as they’re still working all over the country. Even up here in the granola-obsessed Northwest, they’re ubiquitous both in and outside cities.

I’d also have to

Yeah, I didn’t doubt it was a late, late 80's debut, just that it (and the 850) sort of arbitrarily *feel* like a 90's car, just as the original Fox body Thunderbird *feels* like a 70's car (even if it launched in 1980), while the Fox body Mustang from ‘79 feels like an ‘80's car.

Hagertys has a good article on the connection

Cool post, but one pedantic correction:
