I don't think it was race-related at all. Children are generally monsters.

Things that have made my child cry: 1) he has to go to daycare. 2) he has to come home from daycare. 3) the waffles at the diner were the wrong shape. 4) the guy he just waved at turned out NOT to be 1996 Steve from Blues Clues. 5) It’s windy.

I clicked and there is not one photo of that kid having anything close to a temper tantrum, and even if he was, who cares? He’s four. Four year olds are irrational and sometimes they cry.
