Because according to the Hardcore Gamer, the things they shrilly screech for Make All The Money, Obviously, And Nintendo Is Stupid And Hates Money.

I work in insolvency and do a bit of corporate restructuring. I cannot tell you how many CEO’s I’ve met who sound EXACTLY like Roberts. The difference is most creditors stop throwing money at people when it becomes clear they can’t handle it.

Or what’s going to make sure it’ll never be release.

It’s in the state it is in BECAUSE it has no publisher. No one to give hard deadlines, no one to say “This has to be done by X date.” It’s freeing early on in a project to be able to experiment, but at a certain point, you need to set your eye on release.

Don’t get why so many are so willing to jump in and defend against any criticism made against Star Citizen. It doesn’t matter what Roberts’ credentials are or how amazing they’ve said it will be, fact remains that it has the budget rivaling most AAA games and is a year over schedule with not a great deal to show for

Wing Commander? Kings Quest? Oregon Trail?

DK64 was one of the lesser games that Rare released on the N64. I just played Blast Corps through to the credits this past weekend. It holds up. What I’ve replayed of Conker, Perfect Dark and Banjo all do as well.

Too many bananas to collect!

Almost any android device (even the ouya) can make a mockery out of Nintendo’s virtual console.

The point was to highlight a point I made in the review, to expand on it, to put it in the context of our other coverage about Nintendo’s Virtual Console and to encourage discussion about it in the comments below. It sure felt necessary to me!

To point out that Nintendo is missing a huge opportunity to make money by not properly marketing and selling their classics.

As would I, but your isp is apparently not a concern anymore, and buying a game takes maybe 10 minutes. this isnt the deep web. with steam workshop, it would take 15 minutes on top of that. youre complaining to complain.

Companies have an obligation to provide what was promised when it was initially sold. If they promise product 1.0 for $60, then you get product 1.0 for $60. If they later offer to sell product 5.4 with new features and content for $2.50, then you would have to pay $2.50 to get that. none of the stuff Obsidian is

..and don’t be stupid, how is paying for it twice ‘a good idea’?

I was honestly thinking more of the Mass Effect games, which used Unreal 3, and could’ve easily supported it like multiple other devs using the engine did.

what does that even mean? it’s currently $7 and when the next Steam sale comes along it’ll probably be $2. you have no reason not to buy it again.

It’s usually like $2.50. What does price mean other than money? lol

There is one other great starter game for people of all ages: the original Animal Crossing.

I think the truth is you’r e simply WAY overthinking it. I get it though, they’re your kids. Overthinking makes you a good parent. Trudge on and learn to convince them why or why not every single game they see is or is not the best one to play at the moment. As a 5 year old I loved the educational game Treasure

I should have mentioned that! My kids adore Kinect Party. Tim Schafer once told me Double Fine started working on Kinect Party because he wanted a game he could play with his daughter.
