You’ll be losing money not buying it.

Honestly “Battlefield, but with a Star Wars skin” is all I need. If nothing else, it’ll be a nice diversion from the faux-realism brown-and-grey stylings of battlefield.

So essentially it looks like next gen Star Wars Battlefront? Welp, thats reason for me to be excited!!

Also I love how authentic it feels

Why does it take 8 years to get approved to post on your forum?

No, I kid... but I did try to sign up for NeoGAF waaaay back in 2006 or 7, and never saw an approval e-mail or at least a “You aren’t hip enough for our forum” message. Seemed like a pretty interesting place too. I saw a lot of intelligent discourse about

Don’t listen to Kotaku on this one. Fantastic game and a surprisingly good port. Thought it would be a big downgrade based off YouTube trailers, but I’m really liking the way it looks/feels. Now to spend the rest of the day dividing attention between this and Daredevil.

Hi, Tyler - is the criteria for actually gaining commenting privileges (and losing them) as completely arbitrary and/or heavy-handed as it seems?

Every time I see Jason mention combat in games, he always comes across as someone who really just wants brain dead combat because he always says something isn’t in depth enough but when a game has some decent depth to combat he complains its boring. Maybe just stick to the mashing combat games with no logic to them?

I like it much better on the N3DS. It looked horrible on my 40 inch tv, and this version I can play everywhere.

Jason Schreier: Why is the map not on the bottom screen???

It is. How much do you hate it exactly?

“BORING. Really boring. Kill this, collect that, search for this, etc etc.”

Then turns around and says, “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is one of the best games you’ll play all year.”

Please forgive me for being confused. I’ve played both games and found Monster Hunter to be much more repetitive and boring.

It is NOT a sloppy port. It is, however, a restrictive port. It’s the absolute biggest game on the 3DS, a game bigger than the memory the system even comes with so you can’t even download it without upgrading your SD card.

Its funny, I was close minded and thought this game looked like crap before it came out on the 3ds, I bought it on a whim and even though it has a lot of jaggies, I am loving it. Glad I ignored my impression that I had from just videos.

At $15, it also doesn't cost $60 like a full AAA title.

when you find out which company rightfully deserves his $2.50 let kotaku know so they can finish the article and he can mail out a check.

Same title, different game, dumbfuck.

I seriously have to wonder how many people who work or have worked on the dev side of things actually give any kind of a shit about this stuff. I'm in the latter crowd and all it does is remind me part of why I don't have the drive to work on video games any more... the public and press is full of dumbshits with more

I'm pretty sure they drive Leafs because of the non-burning of fossil fuels. I'm pretty sure they want their cars to be reliable and long-lasting too. Keep pushing your bullshit agenda though.

Yes, of course. Definitely the government and environmentalists fault. Couldn't possibly be that the corporation decided that that level of engineering wasn't cost-effective. No way.

Environmentalists don't want long-lasting, reliable cars that don't need to be constantly replaced and recycled?

I think this is great. A manufacturer who makes great cars making good money? Nothing wrong with that.
