What I'd give to see Trump turn his hat backwards to gain an advantage…

Have you not seen a comedy movie before?

I recall liking the episodes I saw. And while I didn't think about it at the time, earlier my mom was watching PBS and some Pledge Week stuff came on, and reading about this made me think that a Pledge Week Roast would certainly improve things.

I've only seen a few episodes of the first season (I stopped at the same point the AV Club's reviews did, coincidentally). I know I should watch more, but peak TV (and my work) is getting in the way.

I'm not terribly familiar with the jobs, but I assume medical research would be a good fit. As for surgeons, according to Wikipedia, the character on "The Good Doctor" is a pediatric surgeon, so apparently yes.

That's if he can manage to get his fingers into the holes that are so far apart for him.

I vote for chessboxing.

Which is great, by the way, because if he's sitting around waiting for something to happen, then he's not in danger, and there's no one in the area who's currently in danger and needs rescuing, either.

As someone with mild autism, I can see autism maybe helping in some aspects of being a doctor (autistics can be obsessive over stuff and learn lots of details about a subject, so I could see that being a plus in memorizing medical minutiae) and hindering in others (how would you rate the bedside manner of someone who

I liked John's comment that New Hampshire is so boring, it's the only state to make you say, "Oh, thank God, we're in Maine!"

Last Week Tonight - August 6, 2017

I felt much the same way about "Shadows." Important for what it means, not as important for being entertaining.

I shared this on the other WOT, but what the hey.

You're pretty much right on. I recall hearing about the spider symbolism before seeing the film, and if it wasn't for my looking at Wikipedia and seeing a rather convincing theory about what that was about, I'd have thought it was plausible that they just threw it in to fuck with people.

I'm thinking "Friday the 13th Part III." From what I've seen, expect a lot of gimmicky "coming-at-you" 3D shots.

This last week in Sillstaw’s entertainment:

Going to see "Atomic Blonde" tomorrow. I would've seen it yesterday, except I ran out of money after buying a $30 ticket to go see "Hot Fuzz" later in the month at the Alamo Drafthouse. (It comes with a "free" T-shirt, hence the high price.) I had been thinking of seeing "Detroit," but a combination of two

People at McDonald's don't need to make $15 an hour

I believe he works with corn de-tasselers, and he's reporting what he hears his workers saying.
