Last Week Tonight - March 5, 2017
As I recall, the only song from "Popstar" that was on the Academy's shortlist was "I'm So Humble." (I'd have preferred "Finest Girl (Bin Laden)," but I understand that would have been impossible to air on TV. At least with "Blame Canada," they only had one "fuck" to censor.)
I should definitely add that to my list of movies I'll probably never end up watching, but should.

My dad was a Republican who ended up voting for Obama. He said his mother (a die-hard Republican who insisted that stuff just as bad or worse than Watergate was done by Democrats all the time) would roll over in her grave if she knew, but he couldn't vote for McCain/Palin or Romney/Ryan.
True. Then I'll just say that the most recent film I've seen that's been labeled as horror was "Get Out," which was a serviceable thriller, but I didn't feel it was scary or atmospheric. The dread certainly was there.

This last week in Sillstaw’s entertainment:
These upcoming weeks look very lean in terms of movies I want to see; at least with January and February, I had some leftovers from awards season to go see. I'm going to see "Logan" on Saturday, mainly because there is nothing else playing that I'm interested in at all.
It's a reference to "30 Rock," so they did it first.
