Ha! Nice try, Alexa. That “baby-making music” isn’t going make any babies while I’m sitting at home alone, flipping morosely through TV channels for hours on end.

Oh wow. This almost exactly describes my response to the way my mom treated me for years. I never categorized it as verbal abuse because I thought I was just being melodramatic. But maybe that’s exactly what it was. How curiously thought provoking.
No! Don’t play DK. At least not if you want to do marginally well.
I’ll hop on here as a former gamer enthusiast (now just occasional gamer due to time constraints), and say that all of this is pretty overblown.
God, I wish I was that watermelon.
I just want a consistent framerate. =D
Nope, I totally agree with you. ATLA was, despite it’s predictable and trope-heavy conceits, a very complex and entertaining show. TLOK was, by all accounts, a very poor facsimile.

It depends on what you’re going to use it for.
I mean, some of the things he said are things that I would consider “good” things. But I’m certainly not going to take Trump at his word. The man has an egregious propensity for spouting the most ridiculous, outlandish lies and asserting that they are truths. He is in no way a man of his word.
All of this. This is what shocks me.
I’m a guy, and even though I don’t fit the particular demographic, I thoroughly support the issues women are bringing forward via this demonstration, as well as their general concern surrounding a Trump presidency.
As an American who diligently partakes of Tim Horton’s whenever I visit my parents in Canada, I don’t understand its allure. The coffee is watery and tasteless, and the donut cakes are overpriced, dry and blase.
It’s everybody’s fault really. There’s enough blame to go around to absolutely everyone—from the Democrats, who undermined the considerably popular but nationally unpalatable Sanders, to the Republicans, who for Christ’s sake couldn’t even coalesce behind a single, legitimate candidate, to the people who willfully…
Two things: for recommendations, I’d suggest Code Geass (for good mecha action and solid worldbuilding), Bakemonogatari (for fantastic character development), Toradora (for great slice of life romance), and One Punch Man (for shounen deconstruction/humor). That should cover most bases.
I’m not sure how I feel about this. I think the first game was pretty much perfect in how awful and twisted yet beautiful it was in the way that it ended. The consequences of Joel’s decision, and the ambiguity wrapped along with that, is kind of what makes the ending so powerful.
I know it’ll never happen, but I wish that one day Capcom would at least consider bringing Rock Volnutt—the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom version—to a MvC game. His weapon switching mechanics were really interesting.
If you haven’t watched it already, try Bakemonogatari. That, and its successive seasons (especially everything after the largely mediocre Nisemonogatari) is just pure brilliance.
Oh, I agree with you completely. You’ll notice in my post that I’m not dissuading people from expressing their contrary civil opinion. I’m simply asking for people to be considerate in how and when they’re expressing it.
I despise Trump and have an extreme distaste for Pence, but I’ll go ahead and be one of the few to say it—I think randomly booing Pence is taking it a step too far.
Normally, I would be happy with that sentiment. But unfortunately, everyone who didn’t vote for Trump will also be getting what Trump voters deserve. Which makes me very nervous.
