Yeah I wish he was less angsty on his regular show, but it's tough to write a show where the main character or characters don't have an internal struggle. But I loved his independence and his sciencey know-how. Between this and him zooming out for takeout on Arrow all my favorite Barry moments happen on other shows.

I'm glad he's reformed; he was one of Wally's allies in the 90's.

I assume Canadians handle breakups better and can remain professional in the workplace.

But a breach would mean we could have a crossover between the two universes!

That crossover episode was the best Flash episode all season.

A couple of other things from the movie probably came from Joss. The "Ok, you're a dick" and the plot misdirect and Magneto's line about how it isn't always about Wolverine seem like Joss' style.

I actually think Ra's was tired and threw the fight. Oliver tried so hard!

Um he IS unapologetically one note, and that note is "Chew the Scenery". Like I said above about Cupid, I can respect that the character has a clear, uncomplicated motive.

I really want a Felicity/Laurel/Huntress spinoff where they face off against the International Birds of Prey Nyssa, Katana and To Be Determined.

She's got a clear motivation, I can respect that. And I liked the actress in Supernatural.

I'm really glad the article was strictly about this; it's like the show is a limo and we're Thea hitting a wall.

I agree with you. Somehow the Flash's weekly silliness dovetailed into season arc relevance. I was kind of impressed.
This week's Arrow tried the same thing: external struggle with minor supervillain parallels the protagonist's internal emotional struggle. Somehow, Arrow managed to flub this by letting plot

And Thea's love of portmanteaus. She's the best part of this season.

"…the only real way for a viewer to assess the situation is based on which character that audience member finds more likeable."
The Mrs. and I were divided based on gender. She automatically sided with Felicity, and I felt for Oliver, but I kept my damn mouth shut.

I pegged the mood of MoS in the trailers when Supes didn't have red underwear. There is a vast difference in storytelling from people who aren't afraid of elements like that. MoS is what you get when Superman goes commando.

I appreciate that Snyder pushed forward the technology to show Superman doing super things. But that's it.

Ralph Dibney or Jack Knight!
Did we get The Shade already in one of the villain of the weeks? I've blocked out the shitty ones. Maybe I'm confusing it with the Mist, who was better written in the James Robinson run on Starman. I need The Shade here and The Question on Arrow, stat.

Why not rip off Superman I and II, they ripped off Superman III with the peanuts at the bar.

I feel like he can craft a film and give us a slick finished product like nobody's business, but the content always fails me.

Spoiler Space: it doesn't. JJ added the 'Cloverfield' name after the fact for marketing purposes.
