This got filmed and released out of nowhere, I assume Kimmy Schmidt was the inspiration.

Me too!
Their agent names should have been Agents Ventura and Trebek.
I was hoping for an X-Files reference, or a Supernatural style code name, but alas.
Rip and Leonard as feds was pretty great.
The theory here from last week is that the writers have to split up Stein and Jax because the Firestorm fx week after week would get expensive (on top of all the other fx shots). This week they even came up with an excuse not to do it, that it could blow up the Waverider.
I'm not 100% sure but I thought the showrunners said there would be a different Big Bad each season. I hope that means with a half season run, Savage gets killed permanently in like three episodes from now.
"I knew we shouldn't have let him drink all that whiskey first!"
If this was a show about these characters hanging out at a bar or something, it would be vastly improved. Maybe pare down the cast and don't make the show premise about constant life and death.
Yeah but it's Laurel from Arrow isn't it? No big loss.
Yeah it's like a greatest hits collection. Or he gets sent back in time to Jonah Hex or something.
Jax is still kind of a kid, and Ray has low self esteem, so I went with it. I'm also glad that Kendra got to assert her independence.
I loved it for the Batman Beyond/Arrow season 34 story, as well as the downtime on the Waverider getting to know and care for the newer characters (which this show needs desperately). And tension between Mick and Leonard is a very interesting development. Hope they don't squander it.
Inner ear imbalance.
I appreciate the character breakdown, pretty much since I imagined similar things. I loved this episode, mostly because I'm so invested in Arrow (and because this was the Batman Beyond version of it). Poor Ollie was on season 34 of Arrow, and that means 34 years of flashbacks. I feel for the guy.
Absolutely. Love triangles in fiction always result in crying or secrets or betrayals, but in JLU they were all adults about it. Mari and Shayera even got along together professionally.
Right? This episode must have been set on Earth 2.
Arkham Arrow PC Edition
Buffy was the proto CW show, literally mixing 90210 (filmed in the same school) with vampires.
I assume they had to keep the number of CGI animals reasonable, and they had the Grodd work to fall back on.
