There’s a difference between padded gameplay length (see Dragon Age Inquisition) and quality gameplay length (see Witcher 3).

Better than the “Rogue cop with a chip on his shoulder” Garrus in ME2? Because I still remember how excited I was to see his gnarled ass. And then how sad I was when he got obliterated by a gunship. And then how excited I was when he just shook it off and got back to no-scope sniping people for the next two games.

Galaxy News Radio for me!

There was a shocking lack of Druscilla in the above article.

Principal Snyder. I could quote endlessly, but I’ll stick to two:

Agents of SHIELD has some of the best fight scenes on TV.

Every time I watch this show, I’m just absolutely stunned at how much better it’s gotten than what the initial part of Season 1 implied.... This was such a great episode, and kudos to the acting chops of Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge in this ep. They knocked it out of the park.

“I’m psychic, of course I knew” was probably my favorite J’onn line of the show.

While Suicide Squad was all around garbage, there are many good ideas in Man of Steel and Batman V Superman, it just that Zack Snyder is so incompetent and David Goyer is also so incompetent that the movies ended up being complete messes. It’s like they are 4 movies mushed into two.

To be honest I’d say part of the main fault even in skirmish mode for me was having a “fantasy/hollywood hapless russian out-teched and outmaneuvered by germans” version of the russian army rather than the RL latewar version that crushed Germany by literally *walking* into Berlin.

The out-tech and outmaneuvered

Supergirl is better than it has any right to be. Flash has fully crawled up it’s own ass. Hopefully one can redeem the other and not the other way around.

Replayed it recently and the faults, particularly in the story, are still there. The characters outside of the Joker are really poorly done with few getting any screentime at all.

Move Digg and Lyla (and John, Jr., assuming Barry doesn’t change the timeline again) to the Legends team. Then we can get our weekly dose of reaction shots AND open up a spot on Team Arrow for someone else.

Arthur Darvill finally got to have fun and play a character without a stick up his ass. It was great. The scream he gave as he got arrested was pure gold. Coming back to something as remarkably silly as this from his Broadchurch duties must be pure joy.

For me, Legends has become the cheerful happyplace that The Flash used to be. Legends now goes by in a breeze, while I find myself checking my watch a half dozen times during The Flash, to see how much longer I’ll have to watch Barry Allen & company wallowing in misery.

I never played it either. The main reviews I remember from friends is “fun, but too short for $60.” I’ll end up downloading it and adding it to the growing queue. I just started The Witcher 3, so I should be free some time in 2018 (maybe).

I second this. But only if they include Bear.

Person of Interest with Shaw and The Machine aided by “McPoyle” and his plucky bunch of ex-numbers.

R.I.P. Agents of Shield. This has “replacement show” written all over it — as in “AoS isn’t working, so let’s try another Marvel property.”

The thing is, AoS honestly is my favorite comic book show on TV right now. I think it finds a nice balance between the sillier aspects of the CW shows and the dead-serious tone of
