Except for maybe Titanic. No... wait... Pearl Harbor was the worst movie ever. Never mind... I think I’m starting to see a common theme here.

Avatar was the most disappointing movie I’ve ever seen. From the moment I heard the term “unobtanium” I knew I was in for a slog of pretty-looking overly-CGI predictable banality with a healthy dose of preachiness. The fact that it was 3D just made it all that much worse.

I would add, educate family and friends on how to be in your car. As a younger millennial, most of my friends have never been in a car of the same vintage as my truck.

The Japanese judicial system is so tilted (99% conviction rates) that it’s hard to see how he’d get a fair trial, especially since the evidence points toward a contrived set of charges drummed up by MITI to protect Nissan from falling into French government control. This was a set-up, pure and simple.

I mean... What else would you like him to base his opinion on at this point?

The grille is about 1/3's too big. Other than that, quite attractive. I’m hoping that, instead of the competitive-but-not-excellent 3.3TT and lovely-but-antiquated 5.0, it’ll have the new 3.5TT expected in the G80, and hopefully hybridization, as well. If Hyundai really wanted to get ahead of the game, they’ offer

Those trailer wheels look absolutely stone-age compared to everything else in that image... Otherwise, very cool. Get it? “Cool”? ...OK, I’ll see myself out.

What did they feed that Scion TC?!  Happy New, to the, year!

Police: “Hey, where you going with that tuba”?

Get Rowan Atkinson playing Mr. Bean playing Carlos Ghosn and I am 120% in.

Good for him. As many others have said, he NEVER would have gotten a fair trial in Japan. What is “honorable” behavior when your captors are not treating you anything remotely resembling ‘honorably’?

I am now in Lebanon and will no longer be held hostage by those stupid floating rooflines, CVTs, every boring ass sedan looking like every other boring ass sedan, and a sole sports car offering that’s essentially the same car we released in goddamn 2004! Ghosn said in a statement.

Regulating them as mopeds sounds exactly how it should be handled. Delivery e-bikes zip around significantly faster than other bikes and nowadays, they’re the ones riding the wrong way on a one-way street and skipping other traffic laws.

In September, we got a steeply discounted 2019 Limited AWD due to the impending arrival of the 2020. We ended up paying not much more than the base model 2020s price for a loaded 2019. Yeah, it’s “last year’s model”, but a boring 3-row SUV is what it is regardless. It gets the job done.

You can question a lot of car buying decisions.  Who leases a car for $729 a month with $8,519 due at signing (I’m looking at you Maserati Levante Jalopnik ad)?  Who takes a 6-8 year loan out on a car?

I actually know this one because a former colleague bought her new Highlander ~18 mos. back: If you have a two-person household and a single dog and are American, a Highlander is the smallest vehicle that can possibly transport all three lifeforms simultaneously.

...never use a debit card.  Good advice in all situations.

My wife’s Honda Fit LX comes with CarPlay. And no annual fee for use. And it was literally the cheapest Fit we could buy that had air conditioning.
