Jessica Jones is the perfect example of balancing comedy with serious. As the season went on, the jokes faded as the situation become more dour. It got dark, VERY dark, but it still had a strong story to carry it.

My big problem is not that these representations of these characters are bad per se; but that they are not the ones that really should part of their main canon. They would make a great sorta “Elseworld” telling after we have a number of movies under our belt. It actually felt like a better setup for something like…

Attorney here. The short answer is basically no. In the U.S., most jobs are considered “at will” employment; i.e. you can be hired/fired for any reason, so long as it’s not discriminatory/illegal/etc. Wrongful termination, as a cause of action, generally has to follow another cause of action, such as discrimination.
