Textra still seems like the better choice if you want a Material Design-themed texting app. Being able to reply directly from the notification is invaluable.

Love mine so far, too - picked it up the last time it was on sale a few months ago. I just wish Brother supported the native Android print functionality introduced in 4.4, rather than having to use their awful, out-of-date Android app.

I got the Vizio awhile ago on sale at CostCo for about $200, and I've never regretted the purchase. The only real downside is that my TV doesn't properly support HDMI pass-through for true surround sound - to get true surround sound, I have to use an optical cable, so right now, only my PS4 can output it.

"You don't get a color screen and fancy animations, but its E-Ink screen means you'll get a week or more of battery life."

And, as you know, two wrongs always make a right.

This...seems pretty dishonest.

I got one of these last week and really like it so far. Perhaps it's not the "best", but I love how the design lets you maximize the use of each outlet.

...I'm supposed to be washing my sheets weekly?

I've had that Belkin 6-outlet surge protector for a couple years now. Take it with me on every trip. It's pretty solid.

I'm not an audiophile, but I have zero complaints about the sound quality of the JayBird BlueBuds X.

Yup, totally agree. My only regret is that I grabbed these on Amazon on Black Friday and today they're $20 cheaper. Alas!

BREAKING: BMI is, and always has been, a terrible way of judging anything.

Apparently at least 4 people care :)

I believe that's true, yes.

Meanwhile, in a sane world, the PS4's controller has a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack that works with basically any standard pair of headphones/headsets.

Waze is on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.

While I appreciate what Microsoft is trying to do, I really don't see the appeal of "snapping" apps. I'm a chronic multitasker in other areas of my life, but when I'm gaming, I want to game. I don't want to game while watching TV or Skyping or browsing in IE. If I really want to browse the web, I'll grab a

I'd love to get to the point where crashing games was my biggest problem. Right now, I can't even get my fucking controllers to stay sync'd to the console. Pretty sure it's a Bluetooth hardware issue; I'll know for sure when I try another console later today.

Well, I can now replicate the problem pretty regularly. Connect and sync one controller, it connects, and it's happy. Attempt to sync the second controller, both controllers lose connection. Eventually it reaches the point where neither controller will connect at all unless I turn the console off and unplug it.
