Just buy one of those CamelBak water bottles before you go. You'll thank me if you do.

Loved EDC and went to UMF earlier this year, crazy times.

Exactly what i was thinking. The people on the real Hall of Fame list are people who actually BUILT the internet from the ground up, not added content to it.

Why tell them?

Because the links are hashed to be secure, you cant just change the file extension on the end and get access to a new file. Also I'm fairly certain that public links actually expire after a period of time after the link was created. Also it sounds like it just works through the cloud, rather than downloading the file

This past 2 days ive had some odd things with the comment/login system. I have to refresh the page 4 or 5 times before they show up, and the username thing at the top right just is blank when that happens. Wondering if they are revamping the system to get ready for the stupid thing where they use google/fb/twitter

well it depends how you look at it, making skin grafts is extremely expensive to do so skin in that process is really expensive. But cutting a piece of skin off one area to reattach to another area is rather cheap. Not to mention there isnt a whole lot of demand for skin to be used in scientific research, and if there

HACK THE GIBSON!

Watched, but cant listen at work.

Id be interested to see what they plan to do about bad weather? Are they retractable so that they can land before the weather hits? Or do they have some sort of system so that they don't blow off to god knows where?

Just Windows and OSX for now.

Agree totally, though i really hope that it is an "OPTION" even if it defaults to be on. I highly dislike UAC and tend to turn it off on my own systems but i know that on my parents and other client's systems i leave it on for their own safety.

Thank god they don't have redshirts in a nuke plant, that would just be tempting fate.

Never said they were good, just mean that they are better than they USED to be. Where they would tell you that it wasn't their fault and it was user error, or just say that the product isn't supported anymore and you would need to buy a new one.

I... need new pants...

There are currently 4 root level exploits that whitehats have been talking about, so it is possible but no one has designed a virus to use them yet. So yeah its possible, but no one is bothering right now. Also just to point out, it would be impossible for a mac virus to "take down the entire internet" considering

Well time machine might save their software and projects (very good thing) but it does nothing for the crippled hardware. The few times I've seen a mac hardware failure they seemed to be rather quick on the replacements. One of my friends had 2 harddrive failures in a year getting both of them replaced in about 2

How is this a myth if it has been proven to be true time and time again by many different security companies and whitehats? It has always been the case that when viruses are designed they were used for maximum impact and spread-ability, so they would take advantage of the flaws in windows because they would own the

Everyone has known this for years and years. Mac was a system that was safe because they only owned a small portion of the market, and as that changed they ignored the fact and its biting them in the ass.
