Justice League Stewart was/is one of the best black superheroes, ever.

These ladies needed to say this and I applaud their courage.

“We should not be engaged in internal debates or conflict about whether or not we are the party of working-class white folks and everyone else. Or debating whether or not we’re the party of jobs and the economy or criminal justice reform. These are the false choices,”

Early John Stewart was alright but, boy was he living the Angry Black Man life

Context.

Only the white folks that didn’t actually read what he wrote.  Some of us did and took it to heart and, I like to think, are better people for it.  Others never read a comic(or any book) in their lives and now are Presidents

I saw and responded to something that ties into this beautiful ode to this cool guy. The AVClub was asking about favorite Stan Lee characters. And sure, you had heaps of praise towards Spiderman, but one comment pointed out Stan Lee’s vision of Captain America. Before Lee Captain America punched Nazis and was a huge

Nah see he had a gun and caught a suspect without murdering him so they had to take him out. Can’t have him making them look bad.

We will never be the “good guy with a gun.” The 2nd amendment was never written “for us” it was written to protect “them” from “us.”

Right now however, congress is designed for rich people (actually it’s always been designed for rich white males, but that is a different

Agreed. Or pay newly elected members who relocate before they are sworn in in order to start preparing and putting together their teams. Somehow, I don’t think the $15,000 or so per month is going to have much of an impact on the federal government’s budget.

It’s a lot of money, but not compared with the level of responsibility that comes with it. It’ll go fast if she decides to maintain residences in her district and DC.

Duh! It’s called a candy tax. It goes up if I’m forced to chaperone.

Remember that that 300,000 number is within the city limits of Pittsburgh. The metropolitan area is much larger than that.

I am not responding to a eulogy at a private ceremony or some article in some small Pittsburgh-based periodical. This is a piece in The Washington Post. An opinion piece premised on a lie, with multiple lies in its text and a lying-ass title. And these are the sorts of Pollyanna-ish lies that literally endanger

I’m tired.

Once it is laying on the sidewalk, confused by your act, use your Shoe of Love to curb stomp it.

I make a 125 thousand dollars a year... guurrrl
