Hell, I’ll give that perhaps today’s culture doesn’t like the skimpy armor.

Have you ever seen the public actually accept a public apology? I have not.

This is probably going to end up being an unpopular opinion but...

It’s not for kids. It’s for people who were kids when the first one came out and never grew past it.

I would like to suggest that, if at all possible, we NOT give Disney more properties.

The MCU has delivered literally dozens of non-“grimdark” superhero movies.  If that’s what you like you are well served and D.C. has also made several lighthearted superhero movies like Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Green Lantern. I still have no idea how this show could actually be good, but am still intensely curious to see the pilot at least.

It’s the perfect cinematic universe for edgelords who never left seventh grade, and for whom the height of their creativity was a character they used to scrawl on their notebooks named “Bloodfuck.”

well put. at least actual bullies have fun bullying and don’t act like it’s burden.

Easily the worst aspect of Nerd Culture’s ascension into the mainstream is its inability to shed its persecution complex.
