@AzureTexan: I'm Uta Pippig, and I approve this message as well.

@Body By Bacardi: Grammatica might not, but Chan Ho Park has a shot at survival fo' sho'

Torn between this and "Hot, Hot, Hot!", Ralphie Lawler apparently chose wrong in achieving his goal of doing a Buster Poindexter shout-out......

@Same Sad Echo: And Dennis Byrd still can't run to answer the door.

@BulinWallFall: The authorities questioned him after the incident, but it appears he was mum about the events at hand.

However, his first attempt at motivation, "Let go rock out with our cocks out" didn't go over that well.

@sportz.star: Really? Tell that to Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei.

@greeneyedfem (MzJ+SG deserve stars): I think I realize that my hang-up is that I don't perceive "non-trans" as connoting "normal". I just perceive is as not transgender. That's it. Methinks it's probably a good hang-up to have.

@greeneyedfem (MzJ+SG deserve stars): Thanks for that. That's basically what I was looking for. My hang-up was that someone that is trans wouldn't look to refer to themselves as trans. That's the insight that I needed.

@JilliefromChile: By the way, my comments here don't make me a Republican, do they? Please tell me they don't.... :)

ed.

@JilliefromChile: I'm not suggesting anything - I'm far from any position to suggest thing like that. I'm just pointing out that *anyone* can bring up a totally bigger argument by asking why refer to one's self or partner as cis or trans at all (I probably should have phrased it as "To the extent where someone can

@greeneyedfem (MzJ+SG deserve stars): I get it....I was getting the sense that people here were waiting for me to throw the term "normal" out there as the alternative to "cis", so they could pounce mercilessly. That's not my point - I'm totally not being combative here.

@merely_a_muse: Again, not nit-picking - you may be more familiar with the term, hence it made a lot of sense to you, as would any other word or phrase. I just find the term unnecessary, in my limited exposure to it.

@merely_a_muse: I don't think it's about finding it "wrong". Perhaps more along the lines of "unnecessary"? It's really thrown me for a loop, and not in a good way. It doesn't make me angry or anything, it just puzzles me at this moment.

@Norton: I don't count Usenet transgender groups as "widespread use". I've used the term "Cock-lord" since around that time as well, and it still hasn't caught on in everyday society. :)
