Not having VRR in 1440p seems like a strange, arbitrary decision. It’s like they just decided not to check the VRR box or something, lol. It’s simply part of HDMI 2.1 standard so to have it on 1080p and 4k but not 1440p is weird. It's a very Sony thing to do.
