Between that and whatever they’re spending on this ridiculous inchoate “Robo-Taxi” thing (even $1 would be too much), at the expense of the cheap widely-affordable option that they should be developing, Musk is driving them directly into a wall, just like an Autopilot.

Nope, gotta save that money for their 4Chan Troll God.

Imagine if Tesla had spent all the money that went towards the Cybertruck on something that wasn’t dumb as fuck.  They could have made a damn impressive vehicle.

To their credit, I expected they'd just run a couple of sheetrock screws through and call it done.

Good technique. Nice bow wave, kept moving. 10/10. Probably did less damage than taking a CyberTurd through a car wash.

I don’t think I’ve done either of those things you’ve accused me of in this article.

It’s ridiculous that the company wants to eliminate shifters and let the car predict the gear/direction of travel on its own but it cannot determine that it is about to enter a car wash and be inundated with water from all angles.

Even though the roll-down rear windshield is awesome, I’d take the LC just for sake of the styling. The 4Runner has the most “GRRRRRRR I AM AN IMPORTANT PERSON AND YOU SHOULD TAKE ME SERIOUSLY!” face that has been set on anything smaller than a half-ton truck.

These trucks are so close the difference for me would come down to the tailgate. The LC does not have the split tailgate but the 4Runner retained the roll down rear window, so I’ll take the 4Runner.

Nope, this is my day job. I have less in this car build than the average new car costs.

This 911 Turbo is less expensive than, say, a base model Acura MDX.

Right now I’m not so sure. Ask me again once the carbon has been polished.

I’m more bugged about the Cressida.  While the Prius was likely a pre-production model lacking a VIN - this was definitely not the case with the Cressida.  Ultimately they belong to Toyota and they can do what they want with them, but if it comes out that someone donated that car to them then I am gonna dump some real

Right like if it was SUPER low mileage, sure I can kind of understand wanting it factory fresh stock but I think it looks fine. This is what I would call a good drivers car. The seller just dropped $24k in fixing stuff so hopefully there wont be any big ticket maintenance coming up, so buy it drive it and enjoy it.

Exactly. All the work has been done, and you don’t have to think about mileage, so you can...you know...just drive it and enjoy it, which you should have been able to do all along. Also, I don’t have a problem with the wheels or the exhaust; never understood why people think every car needs to look exactly as it came

My problem with high-end older Germanmobiles is they’re cheap to buy and expensive to own—get ready to be reamed at the dealership for maintenance. Older Ferraris are expensive to buy and expensive to own—as this owner undoubtedly found out what an albatross he had around his neck when it came to Ferrari buyers’

Nice price, but it also raises one of the quirks involved in buying a car like this: if you can afford to own it (not buy it; I can afford to buy it, but not own it), you can also afford to buy a newer, nicer one. So, you would actually have to want THIS Ferrari, not just any Ferrari.

If only there was a vaccine against billionaires and shitty cars.

I mean, there was that Dodge Charger video

In my off road and overlanding groups the anti-woke people are just mad that people who are not rural white males are getting elected and making laws that do not benefit them. This is causing fear and promoting both anti-woke and election denialism. They are afraid.

I have a friend with Sport Trac. He bought it new and has kept it immaculate. I think it has north of 300,000 kilometers on it by now. He’s always used it as a work truck. He ran a landscaping business for years. He could get a mover or tiller, and a couple of trimmers and gas cans in the bed. The rest of his
