It says that’s The Beverly Hills Hotel Entrance right there on the sign.

For the ‘gram, yo.

For sure. Let’s say a given CT owner wants a fishing boat. A 27' Grady White fishing boat, with two 200hp Yamaha outboards, and a trailer is going to come in at 5600 - 5700 lbs. What happens when that weight needs to be dragged up a slippery west coast boat ramp by one of these things?

That’s a horrible idea.  If you are on a hill or boat ramp and roll back a bit, then you suddenly lose the ability to move forward?

Interesting that we’ve seen videos of tug-o-wars with Rivians, F150s Lightnings and Hummer EVs without this issue occurring.

Except, no, because it’s not like a transmission switching between forward and reverse.  Electricity doesn’t care if the load is caused by having to pull an object, versus having to go up a steep hill.  Load is load.

Ah the Ocelot XA-21. One of my favorite cars in GTA5.

Tanbark sails: well I just learned about something that I had no idea existed--me the total landlubber.

^^ This guy sails^^

as a seasoned offshore sailer, the fact that this boat’s engines are two outboards mounted through-hull terrifies me. I set foot on some questionable rigs in my time as a coach and a sailmaker, but this thing is crack pipe at $2.

Gonna drag every one who might have a major, even controlling stake in an auto company, a transportation company, and a space exploration company, all of which are highly relevant to this site?

Did you miss “auto company CEO”? Do you need me to repeat it for you?

Don’t worry, if any other auto company CEO had a side gig company that killed a dozen monkeys with a brain implant chip, we’d report on that, too. I’d be more than happy to rake Mary Barra over the coals for such a fiasco.

I’m sure it is just as well tested as Autopilot or FSD.

Isn’t this where someone puts the copypasta of the SR71?

We generally use three different airpseed measurements when flying. Indicated Airpseed which measures airflow through the pitot tubes and is on the airpseed indicator. True airspeed, which simply is how fast you are moving through the air. While at altitude my airspeed indicator may only read 230kts or so, my IAS will

Now do away with daytime running lights that only light the headlamps.  Nearly every day, I see someone driving at night with their DRL on, assuming that since they can see ahead of themselves, and their all-electronic dash is lit, then their tail lamps are also lit (they are not).  Dark vehicles in unlit areas are

Very likely. I think it’s why we’ve seen the push towards enabled features on all these cars: cheaper to just build them all to the same spec AND you get the bonus of nickel-and-diming your customers for everything they want.

Why run two assembly lines and pay extra workers when you can just produce more cars faster and disable $15 worth of parts in software.

My partner and I have been doing this from the back seat without any of that fancy wiz-bang hydraulic suspension for years.
