I do agree with this, however, a lot of it is just basic math. If, for instance, after you pay all of your bills, you have $500 left over for a transportation expenses, you don’t spend $400 of it on a car.

The brakes look great but, um...
I also worked in consumer lending and loan servicing for years. While some of these practices are indeed BS (like that double payment thing) and I hate them more than I can even type, we still have to put some of the responsibility on the borrower. If someone offers you financing at credit card-levels of interest…
Transmission. Mine has the typical 3rd and 5th gear grind.
Agreed. I, for one, intend to buy one. With actual money. New.
Same. That’s one of the best things about it, actually. I can run from Series 1 on and just poke my head around the corner when a memorable bit comes on, then return back to work or whatever I was doing.
I just watch them all on the standalone MotorTrend On Demand app. The price was actually lower than the Prime MT subscription and includes another favorite, Wheeler Dealers, as well as live racing events
These aren’t even “luxury” apartments. Just some normal ass, $900/mo units. Give these people a fucking break.
The comments about the looks will go on ad infinitum, what’s it like to drive? Not just pootling around, being a BMW-ery asshole in an overpowered car, but drive drive? Maybe some track time or spirited backroads driving? As someone who’s considering buying a Bimmer for the first time, I’m curious as to whether or not…
turbo 6 making 355 horsepower will last, seemingly, forever. A Hondata or KTuner will be there for those wanting more power.
Aspirational Honda owners. Ditto Toyota/Lexus.
You might not be able to see it but they sell a lot of RDX and MDX, which are both in the $50K range.
Pretty crazy, isn’t it? Fortunately, here in Fort Worth, most places have opened to 100% but kept the masks. Kinda weird though since Tarrant county didn’t even wait until the date Abbott gave, they went effective immediately.
Ugh, I know there was already an i3, but why didn’t this get that name?! Why is the 4-series a coupe but the i4 a sedan?
Didn’t someone do something like that with a small Honda convertible? Pretty sure it was posted on this site.
Definitely a clean car with nice, tidy lines. That said, I’m not entirely sure they were worth $10,995 when they were new. ND
It's Toyota; it will be perfectly sufficient, reliable, and moderately ugly
The hell with keeping it in some unused collection, I’d drive it. Throw in a few gauges to keep an eye on the vitals and you’re set.
This is actually NBD. A lot of owners disable AFM anyway. In the long term, they tend to cause problems and in actual use, the gas mileage will actually increase under the same driving conditions.
Extra stars for the DOOM reference.
