I blame the trucks. I bought my ‘87 Suburban for $3200 in November 2019. Now, they’re going for 3x as much. My ‘81 C10 longbed that my dad bought for $1500 (running, driving, and with A/C) in ~2001 are selling for no less than $9K. It’s nuts!

I’d buy it. Most of the hard work is already done, I can sort out the rest. That said, I don’t think it’s an overall NP.

For some reason, I can’t help but be reminded of Street Racing Syndicate. I loved that game.

Dallas can be bad, no doubt, but has nothing on LA, at least Dallas has a little space to move around. LA is jam packed with the worst mannered drivers(also Motorcycle lane splitters), the only drivers I have experienced that were worse is Monterey Mexico.

ABS won’t save you from other drivers or yourself really. it is still a massive SUV on ice, probably 2 wd with all seasons as well. if they don’t have the snow symbol they will not help much.
