So, we have a strictly city car for people who don’t mind dealing with RHD issues, don’t care about having modern safety gear (I see no sign of airbags), are comfortable sourcing parts for this, and might want a little all-weather capability. It looks lovely, but too small of a niche for this kind of scratch.

Yeah, it’s probably capable of 20 gpm, as opposed to 20 mpg...

I know that they have that tubing there, but I’d want a full plate guard there protecting my legs from those tracks.

ND on any of these 1.8Ts—a horribly engineered POS that I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with through way too many friends who made dumb decisions. I also never saw the appeal of these cabrios unless Heather Graham was driving it, though this looks decent for what it is.

Spectacular review, Rory. When I first read about the Blackwings, I told my wife basically what you said here: I am eager for electric cars to arrive, but I’ll miss gas engines and I’m glad that a number of automakers seem to be going all out on their swan song.

As a very biased driver of an N/A AMG car, it takes a lot for me to even consider that another performance sedan would be better. However, by the end of this article I genuinely found myself conflicted over whether or not another AMG would be in my future or if one of the last V8 Cadillacs would be a better car for

LS7 ATS guy, we hardly knew ye. Bob Lutz wearing a fake ‘stache?

One of the best top to bottom reviews I’ve ever read here (or anywhere). Had a little tear in my eye by the end. Great stuff, Rory.

It’d never fly in the “aspirational” US car market, but I’d like to see a cheap car that embraces its cheapness. Skip the door panels and lets see a painted door frame. Let’s get more creative with materials. Cork for flooring and sound insulation.

But cars (usually) do not appreciate in value - especially boring/ugly cars of dubious initial value. So the “today’s dollars” argument doesn’t really apply. At all. That is a simply ridiculous price. Asking for anything above what it cost new is scandalous. This one.

My first three cars were all mid-late 70's. From a quality/drivability standpoint, the mid 80's cars were vastly superior. But that is because the bar was set in the Marianas Trench.

I’d jump on a deal like the Elio-Shreveport agreement if I were a politician. I’ve basically reelected myself with an ad blitz telling everyone about these great jobs I am about to bring to the area. Then for the next election cycle, I can paint myself as the guy fighting against the scam artists who never delivered

Neutral: Get the test as soon as you can. If it comes back positive, your local pharmacy should have a COVID kit with vitamins and oximeter for under $100. Drink plenty of fluids and pay attention to your temperature and oximeter readings while you quarantine. There was an outbreak in my office back in March. I tested

They had a setup at the Detroit show a few years back, but not on the main floor. I chatted with one of the young people manning the booth. She was VERY enthusiastic in an Up with People culty kind of way.

The fun thing about having money is that it lets you buy things other than a Crown Victoria.

Or how about a shockingly nice, 10k mile Town Car - https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=595734766

Awesome, welcome to the US!

Does that one dude really have a Soviet AK47 lying on top of the Constitution?

A real American drives something like this
