First mistake was to tow it to the dealer out of warranty. Come on. There’s a reasonable chance it was an easy fix for $500 but why not gouge the unsuspecting customer.  I’ve just about seen it all with the dealerships.

I do the same,  I daily a GX 460. I also do really low mileage, like 4-5 miles each way. The gas consumption is so low that I fill up once every 2-3 weeks. So why not daily?

I have a Lexus GX and I wouldn’t change a bloody thing on it. Overbuilt/ understressed V8, comfortable as hell, massive greenhouse with incredible visibility, acres of space, colossal trunk, reliable as a hammer, relatively small overall length for so much size, no superfluous gadgets and interior screens/crap, and…
