I don’t care if “the market is crazy right now.” No means no. People are out of control and this sort of gouging can go to hell.

Ugh that interior. Like an acre of plastic buttons fell headfirst into a patch of poison ivy.
They’re all the same. Honestly
Like a good fart, this sort of thing always makes me laugh
Man, remember that era - the Japanese could do no wrong. Stealth RT, 300ZX TT, NSX, Supra, Celica GT, Eclipse GT, so many awesome cars. So many...
I dig how you work No Dice and crack into the same paragraph
If “crack pipe” was removed because they thought it reinfoirced adverse stereotypes about inner city black drug addicts, then dice should be too, because it also brings to mind the stereotype of the dice-throwing LA gangbanger who smokes weed all day and robs liquor stores. You all known exactly what I mean here.
I have zero empathy for anyone. Pilots, airlines, management, everyone. Fuck them all for this atrocity - in the 80's flying was awesome. Now you have to pay for a shitty sandwich and beg for a whole can of Coke. Airport coffee is $10, luggage lost, everyone bitching, delays, cancellations, power tripping TSA pricks,…
I think a good chunk of the troublemakers are well-to-do entitled Karens tbh.
I love it. The redesign is leagues better than before.
True, but can happen today with increased prices and costs of living and continues to happen. I don’t believe, for a second, that it is now impossible to but a duplex in say, Bristol, CT, and grow from there. Maybe not Brooklyn, maybe not in Manhattan, but there are millions of spots to try this in. It’s possible.
I fully agree with you. No argument, and that city he did it in is inexpensive and yes, was a time of more affordability. My point was not a direct comparison with one of the world’s most expensive cities either, though. It was to illustrate the idea that it is possible to start with smaller sums, leverage assets, and…
An easy fix - wrap or just invest 5-6k and repaint it. Would look absolutely gorgeous in glossy forest green or British racing green.
I can’t smash the NP button fast enough. This is a dream car. Built like it was carved out of an ingot of steel, smooth, everything about it oozes quality and class. It’s an incredible car, timeless good looks, and priced dirt cheap. If it was in driving distance I would buy it this second, no inspection, no haggling,…
I’m not so sure about this. I have a friend who put $60,000 down on a quadruplex in 2008 and rented all 4 units out. He worked hard managing it, but leveraged that asset into collateral for the next building. And so on. He has 50 doors now and that first quadruplex is paid off, the second building also nearly paid…
Came here to ask this exact thing - is it doable to drop a crate engine in? If so and you can modernize this, then a BRG paintjob and new seats will make this thing incredible. Even if that’ll run $20k, it’s under $25k all in and you’re rolling around in something unique and beautiful.
Figured someone would chime in on the false Ford engine assumption I made. Just looked it up, looks like that engine was based on a Jag V8 architecture but modified heavily by Aston and hand built. No wonder it cost so much.
HOLY shit. Wow. Amazing. Both incredible
LOL you’re gonna do this all day aren’t you
