@Yeah!: The Wave was anything but simple... what did I miss?

@daftrok: Very true - I didn't even consider that. I still don't know if I could warrant paying that much for a car that I couldn't ever take more than 50 miles in one direction anywhere without making sure you can charge somewhere.

@blackcat12: The Leaf doesn't have the option to run on fuel if it runs outta electricity if I'm not mistaken. Certainly a dealbreaker for many.

@Rontourage: Considering you wanted each pair of batteries to have its own place to chill, sure.

@Gators15: Firstly, are you really surprised that Apple's battery charger isn't the most fiscally responsible choice? Secondly, yep, Duracell sells a nice 4 AA or AAA charger for $15. It only comes with 2 AAs and Duracell's rechargeable AAs run another $15 for 4 more so there's really no difference. In my opinion this

@Rontourage: Maximum 12 batteries. 8 would prolly cut it. Definitely not 4 chargers. What seems ridiculous to you? Do you not have to buy new batteries every time your batteries die?

@gogarty: Haha i was definitely missing something. Jeez.

@Nitemancometh: Deal. I will do anything to earn my star back. You know, once you take it.

Who said this oil spill thing was bad?

@Ajh: Definitely. And that's not to say it's entirely risk free. Unlocking is inherently much more dangerous and jailbreaking can lead to potentially dangerous software hacks like overclocking. It's no surprise Apple isn't looking to take chances.

@squishyalt: I don't think anyone is looking to power things with this ridiculous contraption. Not for any reason other than novelty anyway.

@s5: Nobody was worrying :)

@Channan: Yeahhhh I don't think this disputes that.

@BoscoH: Isn't that nice?

@Ajh: No, there virtually no risk. But Apple would still be quite foolish to OK it.

@Handbanana37: He'll be part of the show behind the scenes at the very least.

@Tony Prince: Hands down the only way this show will succeed.

Fun fact... Steinway's website says that they've been making pianos "since 1853". A 160+ year old piano would have needed to be made in 1849 at the earliest. Am I missing something?

@MWUK: Is that not what I said? I believe my words were "people who really want to make iPhone apps literally have nothing standing in their way".
