Any time, dude. I have a big Atari library, plus a Magnavox Odyssey 2, NES, SNES, PS1 and Genesis. Not quite as well equipped as Jason’s basement, but up there.

Going for the trifecta with the Tesla Stans, the Mustang-E Stans and the Bolt Stans, I see. Years of playing Atari Berserk should have you prepped for this.

James and I totally have this argument on the next Reels & Wheels, with me sticking up for the rectangular lights. Although I agree that the refresh version of the rectangular lights with the marker lights next to them looks way better.

Where’s the milk I ordered?
In the Thing!
What thing?
The Thing. In the driveway.
There’s a thing in my driveway? What thing is in my driveway?
It’s my thing. It’s yellow.
Look, man. I didn’t sign up for this. Get your yellow thing out of my driveway.

This truck is about to end a lot of marriages.

It started with a 2-speed auto with a column shifter. In college I had a big block 425 put in and we found a turbo 350 3-speed to replace it with. That was great for a while until I found a parts car with a 4-speed.

My Cutlass had one in the right pod. It was pretty forgettable, but I’m glad it was there - when I converted it to a 4-speed, I pulled the dash and was able to dash mount an aftermarket tach and it fit perfectly.

I had to give this one NP props. It looks nice, and I think it’s a good use of the Chevette platform. My only question is... a tow hitch?! Have you driven a Chevette? Even with a fiberglass body, I don’t think you’d be able to go more than -3 mph with any kind of trailer, dolly, bike rack, or luggage shelf attached.

That award goes to my 1980 Triumph Spitfire. It was rated at 72HP new, and that sounds generous. I love it.

First of all, it’s a cool resto-mod, but not $17k cool. Would expect things to be a bit more tucked and tied for that kind of $$$.

“Finish your damn fruit and let’s move, kids. Daddy has a badminton game to get to.”

It’s like that, man. One second you’re chilling in a rooftop pool, the next you’re underwater in your Volkswagen.

The mechanic who rebuilt my 425 V8 had a mop of bushy hair. One day I came to the shop, and his hair now had bangs.

So what should you do if you have GT3 dreams but don’t have the ownership history or want to pay the markup?”

NP! I used to own a 1991 C4 6-speed (not the convertible - I always like the targa top better). The “it’s rare” thing is always misleading with Corvettes - given the total number they built each year, every engine/transmission/color combo is technically “rare”. Mine was teal and there weren’t a lot of those either.

As soon as you pointed it out I saw Alfred Hitchcock choking on a sausage.

As an ‘80's kid, I remember the Muscle Car era had a pretty specific definition - cars built from 1964 (when Pontiac ignored GM’s displacement limit and made the GTO) to 1972 (In ‘73, the fuel crisis and bumper regulations neutered the cars), and often narrowly defined as mid-sized cars with larger engines shoehorned

Miata. In 1989 I was 14 and up until then I had been infatuated with the MGB. At that point, the world saw two-seater convertibles as unreliable nightmare machines from the factory. The Miata was the first reliable roadster and was plenty exciting to boot.

Does it get much more 80's than the 3rd Gen Firebird/Camaro? They ran from 1082-1992. This is my ‘89. The dashboard and console are full of 80's grid-style backgrounds. Sadly, I can not call it to come pick me up from my watch.

...and now Silverado guy is both literally and figuratively upside down in that truck.
