To be honest, my memory of the whole thing is a bit fuzzy. Morphine doesn’t agree with me. I recall something bigger than a needle for that, and a bigger drain tube, but no needles going in and out, at least while I was awake. I don’t really know if this is a physiological or psychologically based problem for her…

I don’t recall getting any shots when having either of my ACLs repaired...although surgery itself is far more invasive. Not sure I fully understand her issue sufficiently to comment further.
