I see how I misread your initial post now, apologies! I was pretty surprised when I learned that generally women/children fared as poorly as they did in maritime disasters, at least at first. I suppose I always assumed it was "maritime law" or something.

"The researchers called the Titanic an exception, mainly because its captain, Edward Smith, threatened to shoot men unless they allowed women lifeboat seats. He went down with his ship."

It's actually true in the case of the Titanic (70% of the survivors were women or children) but total hogwash in the sense that most nautical disasters don't end that way.

Elliot played 36 games and Halak 46. We're not talking about Henrik Karlsson numbers. Either of those 2 (especially playing for a Hitchcock-coached team) is a match for Quick.

How is "Ass Effect" not already a thing? Come on internet, what are we even doing?

We could still have Firefly season 6!

I really like this show but I feel like the best way to watch is to not treat it like a procedural. Generally the Law of Economy of Characters makes it totally obvious how things will play out, so I watch more in the vein of "how will Michael figure out what we know already."

Really?

Having trouble seeing past the Flames jersey in the header pic. Everything about this *sounds* good, but then I see that Flames jersey... blech.

I had a great time with Saboteur. What I wouldn't have given for a silenced sniper rifle!

Reality is indeed a bitch. I imagine being a humorless grouch must be also.

There's a pack also. I mean, they *say* there is. I'm still waiting for my Raptor commendation pack, though.

Hire them to be the crew for Firefly!

Step 2: Cancel Castle. Step 3: Cancel Homeland.

I remember that episode. It's exhibit A in the case of My Mind v. Star Trek: Voyager Never Happened.

Thanks for this. The article (the title especially) is shameless trolling, and equating the removal of formula samples with the eradication of a woman's choice not to breastfeed is a ridiculous strawman. Clicks must be down today.

Perfect. The Oilers could really use another 170 pound forward.

But the ending scenarios *are* radically different. Shepard controls the reapers and stops the attacks vs kills all the reapers vs chooses to combine organics and synthetics. Everyone on earth dies vs. earth is saved.

Yeah, this. Author is trying to get an awful lot of mileage out of the BBB saying that BioWare's advertising was *technically* false because the notion of "completely shaping" your experience is subjective.
