dear sir/madam

phew, i'm glad you put it that way... now i can analogize this by the New Orleans Saints win over the much hyped Peyton Manning Colts in '09.

Eyes cannot unread, brain cannot un-understand.

i doubt you're alone, bro. I for one was a little nonplussed with the author's skill in reading Consider as well. Mine quibbles aren't as many nor strong as yours, but I'm glad the series gets better with each book. It's like he really WAS making things up as he went along in reference to the Culture set up.

hahahahaha :-)

I don't know why all the hate for the happening. It was a good movie in my books. There were good creative scenes including the chilling scene of the street lined with ladders up where people had gone to hang themselves, that freaked me out.

good opinion and I value it same as I valued CJA's too. I do agree with Craig though, you probably should apologize for calling CJA's opinion based on being paid by the movie, that isn't very classy.

i don't snow about that

when the music is more epic than the clip itself... well, i... dunno

And that's exactly the line we're asked to consider toeing.

Good idea but the eventual mix will still have a problem. I think the problem would be evened out if Planters really did as they claim and really make the whole can less than 50% peanuts.

true, though the stubborn will likely refuse. happened the other day to ask a friend if Avatar was a sci-fi or fantasy and he nearly killed me for mentioning fantasy in a movie with space marines and spaceships. I dunno, i still think its largely fantasy (as per the Na'vi design).

Whenever I used to buy a large can of Planters Mixed Nuts, I used to hate that I'd finish all the more exotic nuts before reaching halfway, the rest of the can then just being your ordinary peanuts. So lately, I've been using the above theory to give the can a thorough shake upside down before turning up right way up

thanks for noting Contact (but tsk tsk your teasing it!), i love that movie.

ya forgot Sphere (1998) with Sharon Stone and Dustin Hoffman, and GEEZUS Samuel L. Jackson again!

You mean it was supposed to have been based on Jeff Long's book? I didn't think it resembled any of it, that it was more closely related to the other Brit like caving movie with all chicks down under.

methinks its the ladies putting their bums on seats to drool at Mr. Cooper, dragging their men along as well.

Nice tough matchups, some of my picks lost but that's ok, the winners are fun movies i like too.

automatic skip but yay for Ms Kelly. So underrated in Friday Night Lights (IMO) but married to that douche baseball player.
