I guess they could probably do a heat or chemical based cross-linking process. But those have their own downfalls. Chemical reagents are often prohibitively expensive and can damage human skin. Heat based cross-links require temperatures close to boiling for hours. Burns would be imminent.

Having many condoms makes more sense, but still why bother? Condoms aren't evil. As far as I know you can't exactly kill someone with one.

I've spent the vast majority of my life living in the Northeastern US. A couple of weeks ago we got about 2 feet of snow and we're getting hit by another storm tonight. My bag is this one! I found it about half off at Nordstroms. I use it for just about everything from buying a few groceries, to gym bag, to laptop tote, and even to work and interviews!

I don't shop at malls much anymore for just this reason. Usually my clothing options are Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and AA...of which I think AA is the lesser evil. At least the stuff is made in the US.
